Enterprise

Our Empowerment via Enterprise (EVE) Project offers innovative and interactive enterprise support to Muslim and Minority Ethnic women across the city of Dundee. We aim to help women utilise their skills, experience and ideas to explore and ultimately start their own business. Empowering participants and increasing their self-esteem, we provide a range of accessible workshops covering topics such as idea generation, product development, budgets, marketing and writing a formal business plan. We have created this project to promote enterprise as an alternative route to income generation, employment and self-sufficiency for Muslim and minority ethnic women residing in Dundee City.

The EVE project offers three 10 week themed business blocks, covering Health and Wellbeing, Catering and Arts and Crafts.  The blocks are held every Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30-14:00. We can offer travel and childcare support for participants.  For more information about current blocks, please see the Events page.

Quotes from attendees:

“Without this project I wouldn’t have been where I am today – on my journey to starting my own business as I wouldn’t have had the skills, knowledge or contacts I have now. Thank you for all your hard work in helping me with everything – I really appreciate it”

“This course made me believe in myself because you believed in me and encouraged me to be better and better”
