Statement – London Bridge & Borough Market

Amina – The Muslim Women’s Resource Centre condemns the attacks at London Bridge and London Borough Market.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of the 7 victims of the attack and and all those injured and affected by these shocking acts of violence.

These actions do not represent Muslims and go against the very principles of our faith. We are in the month of Ramadhan which is a time when peace and giving is even more highly honoured.

Amina stands with the people of London and upholds the values that make us a peaceful and tolerant society and urges that we stay united, reject terrorism, hatred and Islamophobia.
