Advocacy is the service where MWRC staff will speak on a service user’s behalf.
This service is available in the Glasgow office on Mondays 10am-12 noon and on Wednesdays 10am – 12.30pm.
Available in Glasgow and Dundee, the Amina befriending service aims to provide companionship to Muslim and minority ethnic women who feel isolated.
We offer an independent mediator service to help resolve disputes between any two people.
Racial harassment is a criminal offence and should be reported. You can report an incident if you are a victim, witness, or a third party who has become aware of an incident - without disclosing your identity.
We organize trips to interesting places, activities and discussions – often there is food thrown in!

The MWRC library has an expanding range of reference books, magazines and leaflets plus two internet-enabled computers with Qur’an software for women to use.
We organise seminars, events and activities designed to bring Muslim women together with mainstream service providers and other communities.
We support women from all backgrounds who are victims of abuse, be it financial, emotional or physical.
this Scotland-wide free phone number offers a listening ear to women who just want to talk through their issues.
A diverse & friendly group that meets fortnightly to discuss issues and exchange ideas and attend workshops/seminars.
